Life.....

I wrote this poem years ago (at least 12 years ago) and I have been trying to remember it. It just came back to me this morning

Life is but a passing phase
So don't hold it too dear
Sometimes it seems there's so much bliss
Sometimes it's just not there
But all the same its not all vain
When you know there are those who care
But most of all because you know
That the Father holds you near!

Thank you Lord for holding me near to you,even when it doesn't feel like it. I thank you for holding me close to your heart! You have said in your word that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you Lord!!!

After doing this quiz and getting all the answers it tells me I know my bible!!!! But do I really? I so want to spend time in Gods word but alas.... Planned at the beginning of thie year to ensure I read the bible through from beginning to end, but I have fallen by the way side :( Lord my prayer is that you help me be committed to you and help me to spend time with you in prayer and in your word!!!!

Lord I just want to say thank you for everything! I thank you for you faithfulness and your love. I thank you for who you are and for all you have done for me. I thank you for things you are doing and things you still have in store.
I may not say it as often as I should but Lord I am forever grateful to you! My heart is full of gratitude because you are my help and my sustainance. May I always give you thanks in all things and at all times. I bless you Lord with all my heart! Thank you Jesus for everything!
